The Ballarat GovHub is home to approximately 1000 Victorian Government employees. The building consists of five storeys of office space with a strong visual connection to the Ballarat CBD, with two levels of basement car parking offering around 220 car parks.

LTE Construction Group were contracted to design and construct the basement retention system and bulk excavation works including the following:
– Minor demolition works
– 167 retention piles
– 197 foundation piles
– Capping beam
– Temporary ground anchors
– Shotcrete walls
– Bulk excavation of site including soil disposal of over 75,000m3
– Basement level pad footings, pile caps and rafts
– Detailed excavation for slab on ground
